How to Cleanse & Condition
1. Brush dry hair out COMPLETELY before entering the shower. Remove all tangles.Brushing prevents extension matting and tangling, and spreads nourishing oil throughout the extensions.
2. Wash every 2 or more days (use dry powder shampoo in between if necessary).Use professional products for best results.
3. Stand upright in shower and shampoo the nape area, spread downwards gently. (Focus on the nape as this is where most dirt/oil accumulates.).
4. Rinse extra well.
5. Condition. Let the conditioner sit while you shave your legs, etc.
Other useful tips:
Heat is hair's enemy.Always use a protective heat serum or spray to prevent heat damage.
At bedtime, braid hair into two side braids to prevent tangling and matting at the root area.(or form a bun on top of your head and secure with a soft scrunchie.).
A satin pillow helps to keep curled styles fresher for the next day.
Avoid salt water or chlorine water - it is very drying and can discolor blonde hair. Put conditioner in your hair and braid before entering ocean.
Wear a swim cap in the pool. (I know they're kind of ugly, but it will save your hair extensions.)
Wear a hat in the sun.
Don't brush hair when wet.
Don't wash/style your hair with products that have alcohol in them.
